For sale is my 2007 KTM 990 Super Duke. I am the original owner. It only has 5930 miles. This bike is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition and is owned by an adult m/c enthusiast. All service has been performed by a VERY competent KTM dealership mechanic ? which I have used for years ? and he knows I am a perfectionist about my motorcycles. The last service - performed at 4536 miles ? included checking and adjusting valve clearances, change oil & filter, checking and gapping plugs, and completion of KTM technical service bulletins 0803, 0804, 0904. (The bike is ready to ride and put some miles on without thinking about servicing.) I have installed a carbon fiber front fender, rear hugger, footrest guards, and chain guard. (The CF is all sold by KTM Hard Parts.) I installed two Constructors Racing Group folding bar-end mirrors on the stock bar-end weights ? after turning a portion of the weights down to 7/8? O.D. to accept the mirror clamps. I installed a custom windscreen (that I fabricated from a dark smoke ZGDB for a XZ-10) to provide better wind protection, streamlining, and a sporty look. The handguards for wind protection are the same ones used on the KTM 950 Adventure. There are 2-stage grip heaters using heating elements under stock Domino grips. I installed a custom cruise control (throttle lock) that works very well. All stock parts (windscreen, f/r fenders, etc?) convey to new owner. Please note that this bike was originally sold as the black model. I bought the orange set also. Both sets of body work (orange & black) are in perfect condition. For an additional $300, I will convey the extra set to the new owner. The bike has always garaged ? never in salt. Call Tom at 240-675-XXXX.
