The Monster 696 is a great all-around bike that is best for a newbie however still plenty of bike for an experienced rider. It's lightweight and simple to manage. It has lots of torque to make you smile every time you break open the throttle, but it can also be ridden as tamely as you like. You decide; take it easy or let the Monster out and tear it up. The handling and brakes are what you would expect from a Ducati: superb! This one has only 674 miles on it and it is really nearly ideal. The footpeg mounts show a little wear from regular use and the location of the tank right above the front of the seat has some very small scratches from being leaned on while riding. This might be easily buffed out or covered with a tank protector.
