I bought this R NineT Racer brand new and have been the only owner of it. This bike is arguably one of the best looking bikes ever made, which is why it is difficult to be getting rid of.The bike has been heavily modified while intentionally maintaining its original design aesthetic. These mods include:~$4,000 full suspension overhaul by Ted Porter's Beemer Shop: Traxxion Dynamics adjustable fork cartridge kit, custom colored TFX fully adjustable rear shock, and Yacugar steering damper.$1,800 full exhaust system: Akrapovic titanium headers and titanium butterfly valve delete, SC Project 70's conic stainless steel slip on exhaust.This exhaust is paired with a high performance DNA air filter augmented by a ~$400 Rapid Bike EVO fuel controller that makes constant adjustments for perfect fueling at any elevation with any fuel.There is also a custom ~$500 Luimoto brown leather seat.~$1,100 LED light overhaul: tail tidy, indicators, and headlight with halo running light. Oberon cafe style bar end mirrors.In short, every "flaw" with the original bike has been remedied, from upgraded suspension, to exhaust, to lighting, to aesthetics like bar end mirrors and tail tidy.I thought I would have this bike forever, thus the splurge on modifications, however, we just had our second kid, and I was forced to go down to one motorcycle. I sold my BMW R1250GS and kept this, Racer. In 20-20 hindsight, being a middle-aged dad, an ADV is more practical for me and I unfortunately need to let this dream bike of mine go.
