Are you ready to take RV camping to another level? Overland is not a make or model but a lifestyle. When other bumper pull campers stop at the RV site and hike to a destination, the overland owner drives to the destination. This custom-built EXS is capable of typical camping but designed and built for the serious off-grid camper. All terrains, including creeks, logs, rocks.virtually anything and everything off-road excursions might throw your way. The current owner, designer, and builder of this exceptional Overland has been in the manufacturing and production of off-road campers for many years. Several years after leaving the business to pursue other opportunities, he built his own camper making simple modifications and adding features that he knew would improve the off-road experience. This began with an all-steel frame with each joint mitered and welded as opposed to a butt joint or bolted one. The suspension is a Timbren 3500HD giving each wheel and tire independent movement from the other and eliminating an axle that could bend or even break. Two gas piston shocks were added for increased stability. The hitch is a Lock and Roll assembly that fully rotates in either direction and pivots to varying degrees. Except for towing purposes, the tow vehicle and camper are virtually independent of each other. The house is a multi-layer system consisting of an interior wall of Baltic Birch, a one-inch foam barrier for insulation, then another layer of birch. All wood components are weather treated before installation. Two layers of marine-grade fiberglass sheeting (three layers on the corners) are applied and allowed to cure. Then a color added vinyl polymer coating is applied to resist impacts and scratching. All screws and fasteners are stainless steel. Going off the grid or backcountry. Still available at ListedBuy!
