Motorcycle purchased on 5/20/1966. 4200 original miles! 1966 was the last year of the long-stroke Sprint 250 for the American market. I inherited this antique bike last year from the original owner and put approximately 10 miles on it since then. Motorcycle has been kept indoors since 1966. Replaced- Gas throttle body assembly (original) Gas lines Gas cock pit Fuel filter gas tank (cleaned) Oil changed Needs replacing- Points Ignition switch Spark plugs Windshield (broke during recent move) Tires Rims (need to be rechromed) Parts on hand- Windshield bracket Carburetor kit for rebuilding Gas cap Original Ignition Original points Original brake shoes Original decals for gas tank Original owner's manual Original title and bill of sale Shop manual After replacing the few items that I did, the bike started right up and I was able to ride it even after it had been sitting for 20 years. The bike was gifted to me from a relative who knew how much I admired it all these years. Unfortunately, due to the recent economy struggles and my wife returning to school, I need the money more than I need to fulfill my vision of rebuilding this bike. Motorcycle is 95% original.
