1998 Yamaha Virago XV1100 Special Black 9,445 Miles $3500.- St. Charles, IL I have been riding for over 40 years and the Virago 1100 bikes are the best motorcycles I have ever owned. They feature an 1063 cc engine and only weigh about 500 lbs. These bikes are really quick and nimble with the acceleration of a crotch rocket. I've had a Goldwing and a Yamaha Royal Star and loved them both but after discovering the Virago I will never switch back. They are silly simple to work on and had a long production run so parts are readily available on ebay. Seat height is a low 28.1 inches. I am 5'3" and can easily flatfoot it. The carbs on this bike were just ultrasonically cleaned, oil and filter are new. Tires are in good shape. The bike has normal wear and tear for an older bike but it is in great shape and shines up well. When I was shopping for this bike, I also researched the Honda Shadows and Magna, Yamaha Vstar, and Kawasaki Vulcan. None of the more modern motorcycles can match the Virago specs and performance. If you are looking for a light, quick and nimble cruiser with a low seat height you should come over and see this Virago before you decide on which bike is the best bike you can buy in this price range. I don't think you can find a better bike for the money. Price is $3500. Cash only no trades.
