$3,600 Kawasaki 1975 H2 750 Project Bike (La Mesa)

Price:
$3,600
Summary:
Used 1975
Location:
San Diego, CA
Description:

Hi Triple Fans,I have For Sale, the 1975 H2 750 you see in the images. There were only approximately 5000 1975 H2's ever built, so this 37+ year old bike is now quite rare. Once rebuilt back to stock condition, these last year H2's are considered a $15-20+K bike. You'll spend about $8-10K getting it there. This bike does needs a complete engine rebuild. The engine was disassembled years ago and remains so. The chassis still has all of it's Wiring & CDI units. I have a useable headlamp shell and ring. The engine CDI & Stator/Yoke Assy is missing in action at the moment. The RH handlebar switch and ignition switch are not on the bike, but I may have them in the dozen of crates of triple parts I have. If I have them, I'll include them. The Chassis has been Upgraded with wider than stock (3.5" vs 2.5" x 18" Rr, and 2.15" vs 1.85" x 19" Fr), Satin Finish, Alloy wheels with Stainless Steel Spokes (a $800-1000 Upgrade these days), longer than stock S&W Street Stroker Gas Shocks and a Superbike style Handlebar installed. These modified parts greatly enhance the handling. This bike was a great runner back in the day (I knew the previous owner). It is lighter than stock, with better Chassis & HORSEPOWER. It would be a fairly simple project for the mechanically inclined. Or, I'll be glad to build the motor for you, while you do the chassis. The non stock. Custom Paint is still decent, but has developed some storage nicks in it in the 20 yrs I've had it. I will throw in a Set of KAWASAKI Fuel Tank Decals. The seat is in nice condition, and it's Plastic Document Holder is in super condition and installed.I have a set of DENCO Expansion Chambers that have a few dings, but are in decent shape and can be cleaned up ( I wouldn't have kept them if they couldn't be reused with a modest amount of work). This H2 also comes with a set of 34mm Mikuni Round Slide carbs and is set up to run on premix. I can add an oil pump, and possibly lines, from the 72/73 H2 . We'll need to discuss that setup and what you want to do with the bike. The Dunlop tires still have plenty of tread but are many years old, so they should be changed just for safety sake. I recommend Avon's "Super Venom" tires in the same sizes. It's been many years since I have looked at the parts for this bike. I also think I have the front brake master cylinder and caliper, or I may consider throwing in a EX500 front brake assembly that is a great upgrade for these triples.I can offer tech support after the sale, and will be glad to give an estimate on the engine work needed. if you are interested, you can read about me and my work at my website ; www.bootstriples.com.I have a Clear California Title, signed off by the Original Owner and a Bill Of Sale.I was asking $3950 for the bike, but I've dropped the price. That is the lowest I'm interested in going. Do NOT come here and treat me like some stupid TELEVISION show. You see the price. That's it.I will throw in as many spare parts as we can turn up. I have it in Spring Valley, Ca., in a storage container that is full of a lifetime collection of Kawasaki H1 500 & H2 750 Triple Parts. If you already have a H1 or H2 and need just parts, feel free to contact me with your needs.PLEASE NOTE; do not come looking at my bike, expecting it is a complete motorcycle. It's close, and I'm willing to look for any missing parts, but what you see is what you get. NOTICE
