THE GENERATOR SHOVEL WAS ONLY MADE FOR 4 YEARS AND IS FAST BECOMING AS COLLECTIBLE AS THE PAN HEAD. THERE WHERE ONLY 6950 FL'S MADE IN 1968. I CLEANED THE FUEL SYSTEM AND REPLACED THE BATTERY, AND THE BIKE STARTED RIGHT UP AND SETTLED TO A NICE STEADY IDLE. I TOOK HER FOR A RIDE, THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTED SMOOTH, THE MOTOR HAD PLENTY OF POWER, AND DID NOT BLOW ANY SMOKE. ALL THE LIGHTS ARE WORKING AND THE CHARGING SYSTEM WORKS.THE FRONT TIRE IS NEWER BUT THE REAR TIRE WILL NEED REPLACEMENT SOON. THE BRAKES WORK WELL. THIS IS A RARE UNMOLESTED ORIGINAL BIKE. THE PAINT ON THE FENDERS APPEARS TO BE ORIGINAL.
