Description:
Title says most of it. Rear-ended a minivan about 2 and a half years ago. Bent the frame, crumpled the gas tank, punched out the low-beam lens, bent the front forks, broke a blinker assembly and crumpled the front fender but everything else is fine. Engine still runs, transmission was unaffected, all electronics and wiring harnesses are still entact. Had the frame looked at by a metal worker I know and he said it could be straightened out and reinforced so everything has been dismantled from the frame but it stopped there when circumstances changed at home and now I need it out, whether slowly piece by piece or in 1 chunk, which is what I'd prefer. All the parts are there, I have a complete service manual and spare spark plugs and I still hold the title in my name. All you'd have to do is straighten out the frame and reinforce it with some flat or angle steel, buy the triple tree and put everything back onto the frame. Parts from this will also fit that generation of Midnight Maxim 650 and 750. This is a shaft drive bike, not chain drive so it shifts and drives very smooth.
