This is a 2001 BMW R1100S A (ABS) and the "Light" version. It has 21,237 miles, in the BMW world not quite broken in. It's a fantastic bike, great for touring, has tons of torque, and handles amazing. I can't enough good things about this bike, truly awesome and one I never thought I'd have to sell. The "Light" version of the R1100S series bikes was produced for 1 year (2001) and was essentially a Boxer Cup. It has all the great things that the Boxer Cup has... 5.5" rear tire (180-55-17), San Jose Rear Strut, steering damper, on-the-fly rear pre-load adjustment, dropped clip-ons, and of course all of the beautiful carbon fiber work. Has the belly pan, rear cowling, rear tire hugger, and little nick nacks hear and there. It also has the heated grips and the electric vest hook up beside the seat, for heating up on those cold days. Clean title and never been dropped. Has had the most recent service with Brown Motor Works on Pamona in which we updated the brake lines to steel braided all the way around...fantastic braking. It's currently set up with Pilot Road 3 tires with only a few thousand miles on them, room for tons of riding. It has Remus exhaust that sounds phenomenal... Minor scratches hear and there from normal wear and tear, small tear on the seat from riding. Always been garaged and well kept. Asking $6,500 OBO. Email me with any questions.
