I bought her in 1999 with less than a mile on her, and I've had many, many adventures with her.She's been cross country several times, drove through every state in the lower 48, encountered bears and bison and even wolves, and rode in San Francisco's Dykes on Bikes at least 15 times.When she hit 80k miles, I started having some troubles keeping her maintained and since I mostly travel alone I had to get a more reliable bike. I'm finally at a point where I'm ready to part with the Valkyrie.She's just past 100k miles now, and has been sitting in my backyard for about 18 months now. I can no longer get her started, and I'll need help pushing her up the driveway. I have no doubt she could be made street ready again, but it will take some serious TLC, or she'd be good for parts (*sob*).I have all the paperwork from all the repairs.No dents, no scratches, and the chrome on her engine is STILL holding up.Disclosures:I've had her shaft drive replaced twice. I was t-boned on the left side in the early 2000s, but I still had warranty and had her repaired to warranty standards, and I've never had any issues from that accident.Her hard saddle bags are after market.The vinyl of the back seat cracked, so I covered it with a fabric cover.Her windshield is after market.She has two sets of highway pegs.Some of the pics are her on her travels, some are now in the backyard.
