This is what my buddies called my "poor man's performance kit."I drilled five 5/16" holes in the back plate of the muffler (right side) and three 3/8" holes in the back plate of the resonator (left side). They're in the top half of the muffler so they aren't right in your face. I cleaned up the back plates and painted them with heat-resistant POR-15 aluminum rust preventative paint to finish them off. The internal baffles are untouched by me and seem to be intact.The bike had about 9500 miles on it when I removed them, so these do need some tar removed and wiped off. No really noticeable scratches, dings, etc...very nice for five years old.It gives the bike more rumble but won't make your passenger's head explode after an hour on the interstate.THE AIR FILTER IN THE FIRST PHOTO IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.Everything came off of a 2006 FLHRI, so check fitment.Emails only; publishing my phone number got me 2AM calls last time I posted something here.$50 cash, but prefer a trade for excellent condition rear crash bar bags that will fit my bike.
