1976 Moto Guzzi V-1000 Convert. It is a L.A.P.D. It is a 1000cc V-twin with 23,000 miles and has Aftermarket exhaust with a nice rumble, not too loud because the removable baffles are still installed. It also has K&N Filters on it. It also comes with stock air box and filter and a box of other parts. It has linked hydraulic triple disk Brembo brakes. Shaft drive. This transmission has a torqueconverter just like a car instead of a clutch. With a manual clutch to shift gears. It is a two speed tranny. Leave it in high range all day and ride around like a scooter with no clutch or leave it in low range for city or more agressive riding. You only have to use the clutch to shift. You can also shift up and down all day like a normal transmission. I just installed a new stereo and speakers. I aslo have a brand new ventless wind shield to go with it and a matching trunk. This bike is a real treat to ride as I put a few thousand comfortable miles on it last season. I have a new set of dunlop 404 tires and tubes to put on it. A few weeks ago I was out on a ride and the bike quit charging. I thought it was the voltage regulator so I put a new one on. Turns out the stator is also bad. They are around $125 on line but I may order one soon if some money frees up. If you know any thing about Guzzi's than you know the only bike that will last as long as a Guzzi is an air head BMW. As with most guys with toys, I get bored and want something new. Please do your research on this before you contact me.
