I'm selling my 1973 Harley Davidson Xl Ironhead 1000cc that I rebuilt in Honor of my father that passed away in September of 2013. This is truly breaking my heart and is very emotional for me as I have put a lot of time and money into it and keeps me closer feeling to my father, but have had some unexpected bills and health issues that are forcing me to sell. K now about the bike! Bought it 2 yrs ago as pretty much a basket case with matching motor and frame numbers. Spent about 8 months to get bike to where it is now. Run's and Rides great! Has a very small oil leak at one of the 0 rings in tappet blocks, which they all do or did at this age lol. Very easy fix. Could use a new front tire as well and starter has just started to bind slightly but still will start up fine with it but should be replaced soon. Have ridden to Gettysburg with no issues or breakdowns and I'm currently riding now as it's a beautiful summer day. There is way to much for me to list on here about bike so I'm sure I will be forgetting something so please contact me for any other info may want or need. One Of Kind Old Meets New Custom Flame Paint with metal flake and hand pin striping and Scripture message on rear fender that says (Honor Thy Father) All work done by Hagen,'s Kustoms in Woden, Iowa. 2) Electric And Kick Start. 3)14,000 original miles 4)New Harley Spoke Wheels. 4)Willie G Skull tear drop mirrors. 5) Willie G Skull Handgrips 6) Mustang Seat. 7)New Battery. 8)Upgraded Led Ultima turn signals 9)Ultima Led tear drop brake/tail light. 10) Rebuild carburetor kit last year. 11.) Willie G Skull Gas Caps. 12.)Lots of Additional Chrome Parts such as chain guard cover, spring covers, coil cover, battery cover, kick plate cover etc. 13) New kick start pedal and spring custom v-twin brand. 14) New chrome kickstand and spring. : As stated above I'm sure there's much more I'm forgetting. I realize some of value in this bike may be sentimental, but I'm in no rush to sell, so If doesn't I will be riding and taking to many more shows this year. Has free and clear open title. I do have the original work manual and some new and extra parts as well that will go with bike as well as the trophies that it has won too. Asking$3,300 Today Only!!!
