What makes this bike notable is it's forkless front suspension, specifically a RADD, INC., front suspension designed by the one and only James Parker. This suspension provides improved stability under braking but the improvement did not justify the additional cost for the consumer, and the bike was to commercially successful.The GTS1000 also had advanced technology no normally found on motorcycles at the time, such as electric fuel injection, ABS brakes and a catalytic converter.
